Alibaba opens a logistics hub in Tultepec to meet the growing demand in Mexico's e-commerce market, valued at 401 billion Mexican pesos.
In 2021, the e-commerce segment saw a 27% increase compared to the previous year, reaching 316 billion pesos.
Alibaba's new logistics center, located near Benito Juárez International Airport, will handle sorting and distribution of packages, enabling deliveries from China to Mexico in just 12 business days.
While details regarding the investment and size of the hub were not disclosed, it is expected to serve consumers across all 32 states in Mexico.
