Ambu has recently inaugurated its largest plant in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, marking a significant milestone for the company. This new facility allows Ambu to expand its production capacity and ensure closer proximity and reliable supply of products to North America.

With a total capacity of nearly 30,000 square meters, this factory is a strategic step towards being closer to the North American market. It provides a sustainable and flexible approach to address the challenges faced by the global supply chain, enabling cost-effective transportation and improved product delivery to customers.

Britt Meelby Jensen, CEO of Ambu, emphasized the importance of this new site in Mexico, particularly in delivering innovative and high-quality products to customers.

Throughout the disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and global supply chain interruptions, meeting customer demands with excellence has remained a priority.

"Our investment in the new Mexican plant is a strategic decision to ensure future production capacity, enhance our flexibility, and be closer to our customers in North America, thus ensuring a reliable supply of products," stated Britt Meelby Jensen.

Furthermore, the company plans to create a total of 3,000 new jobs as production increases in the coming years. Currently, Ambu operates manufacturing facilities in China, Malaysia, the United States, and Mexico, with a production space of nearly 100,000 square meters across different continents.
