Bimba y Lola is strengthening its presence in Latin America. The Galician fashion company has reinforced its commitment to Mexico and launched a new expansion plan in the country, which includes the opening of six new stores this year.

The first of these stores is located on Avenida Presidente Mazaryk, one of the main commercial avenues in Mexico City. The flagship store, which opened its doors yesterday, will also house a showroom and serve as Bimba y Lola's headquarters in the country.

Bimba y Lola opened a store on Avenida Presidente Mazaryk yesterday. The rest of the group's stores will be located in other "iconic fashion destinations in the country". Bimba y Lola arrived in Mexico in 2012 and currently has twenty-three points of sale in the country, most of them in the capital.

The remaining stores are located in cities such as Monterrey, Mérida, or Cancun. In 2018, the company solidified its presence in the Mexican market with the launch of its e-commerce channel. With this move, Mexico became the first Latin American market where Bimba y Lola introduced its online channel.

Latin America is one of the main markets for the Galician company. In addition to Mexico, Bimba y Lola is present in markets such as Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Guatemala, Panama, and Uruguay. The company generated 38% of its sales internationally in 2021.

In total, Bimba y Lola operates in 44 countries through its e-commerce platform and has 277 physical stores in 21 international markets. Sales outside of Spain already account for 38% of the company's revenue. Bimba y Lola concluded the fiscal year 2021 (ending on February 28) with sales of 216.4 million euros, representing a year-on-year growth of 32.4%.
