In a monumental deal worth $1.32 billion, Mondelez International has successfully finalized the acquisition of Ricolino from the Mexican company Grupo Bimbo. This transaction signifies a significant shift in ownership, as Ricolino, the beloved brand responsible for iconic treats like Paleta Payaso, Kranky, Bubulubu, Sonrics, Bocadin, Chocoretas, Gomilocas, Dulcigomas, Duvalin, Moritas, Panditas, Huevitos de chocolate, Raspafresch, and many more, is now entirely under the control of Mondelez.

As part of this acquisition, more than 25,000 employees from Grupo Bimbo have been seamlessly transferred to Mondelez International, ensuring a smooth transition of operations. This move solidifies Mondelez's commitment to expanding its presence in the market and capitalizing on the immense popularity of Ricolino's diverse range of confectionery products.
