The Association of Real Estate Developers (ADI) is entering a new phase. This week, Bosco Quinzaños assumed the presidency of the organization that brings together the country’s leading developers, succeeding Jaime Fasja after three years in which the industry faced urban transformation, complex economic cycles, and renewed public scrutiny.
The change is not only institutional; it serves as a barometer for a bloc of 80 developers whose projects—according to ADI itself—account for 20% of real estate development in Mexico City and approximately 65% of development nationwide. In just the last year, the association estimated that its members would invest nearly $15 billion in 237 projects—commercial, industrial, hotel, office, retail, residential, and mixed-use—confirming the significant structural weight this group exerts on shaping urban space across the country.
Before assuming the presidency, Quinzaños—also CEO of Grupo Invertierra and founder of Casa del Agua—served as ADI’s Treasurer, where he took part in the financial management of the organization and in coordinating projects among its members. His arrival at the head of the association marks a disciplined continuity, characterized by orderly management, technical dialogue with authorities, and a strong emphasis on regulatory certainty—factors that currently determine the sector’s ability to sustain long-term investment.
In an environment where certainty is hard currency, understanding the pulse of the market and those who drive it in detail is essential. For in-depth tracking of the sector and its key players, visit SiiLA REsource or contact us at contacto@siila.com.mx.
