BRP has initiated the construction of its first electric vehicle manufacturing plant, marking a significant milestone in its journey towards electric mobility. 

Production is set to commence in 2024, creating 500 new jobs. Querétaro, October 3, 2022 - BRP Inc. confirms the commencement of construction on its inaugural electric vehicle manufacturing facility, representing a significant stride towards electrification. 

Today, the inauguration ceremony for Can-Am's two-wheeled electric motorcycle production plant took place in Querétaro, Mexico, situated adjacent to BRP's existing campus in the city. Production of the company's initial electric motorcycle models, Can-Am Origin and Can-Am Pulse, recently unveiled at the BRP Club, is slated to begin in March 2024, with consumer deliveries expected during the summer of 2024. 

The new manufacturing plant is projected to generate 500 new jobs during its initial phase. It has been designed in accordance with LEED principles, employing sustainable materials, aligning with BRP's Corporate Social Responsibility Plan to reduce its carbon footprint.
