Amidst the reactivation of the restaurant sector following the Covid-19 lockdowns, Burger King has focused on strengthening its menu, allowing it to recover sales and position itself in new distribution channels compared to 2019. As a result, the brand has announced plans to open between 30 and 40 new restaurants by 2022.
During the presentation of the Costilla King burger inspired by the flavors of the northern region of the country, Brian Kleiman, Marketing Director of Burger King Mexico, stated, "The recovery has been very positive and is happening rapidly."
Currently, the brand has 406 establishments nationwide, generating 6,000 jobs, as reported by El Economista. In an interview, the executive of the leading burger company highlighted that Burger King not only invests in new products but also tells stories in an original and creative way.
"For us, it is crucial to stay at the forefront and continue innovating with new quality items on our menu that please our customers." Brian Kleiman mentioned that delivery services have experienced double-digit growth compared to their pre-pandemic behavior, emphasizing that this form of marketing "is here to stay."
