With an investment of 200 million dollars (mdd), Kuka Home Mexico has initiated the construction of its new industrial plant in Nuevo León.

The Chinese company currently operates two warehouses in the Hofusan Industrial Park, where it produces a variety of home furniture. However, the new project will be located in the Interpuerto Monterrey Development, situated in the municipality of Salinas Victoria.

With this expansion, the Asian company aims to integrate additional production lines, shipping facilities, and laboratories in different phases. The Interpuerto Monterrey Industrial Park has become a vital component for economic development and attracting foreign investment in the region. Within its 485,000 square meters of covered warehouses, 20 companies from China, the United States, Mexico, Germany, Japan, and Korea have established their presence.

During the groundbreaking ceremony of Kuka Home's  ndustrial plant in Nuevo León, Daniela Silva, the Commercial Director of Interpuerto Monterrey, highlighted that the project spans over 1,400 hectares, with more than 450 hectares already developed to date.
