Closing of the second edition of SiiLA ACADEMY in 2022

During an in-person event on November 29, 2022, Alejandro Delgado, Country Manager Mexico at SiiLA, delivered the closing of SiiLA ACADEMY with a Market Overview and statistics for 3Q22. The event concluded with a networking cocktail. The closing took place at Corporativo Polanco located in Mexico City, where a tour was conducted by Alan Rodríguez from FREL.

This is the second edition of SiiLA ACADEMY in 2022, with the previous edition held in June-July. SiiLA ACADEMY is a specialization course focused on the commercial real estate sector. In the past, SiiLA offered basic modules of SiiLA ACADEMY in Brazil (SiiLA Bootcamp for Mexico) for professionals interested in deepening their knowledge in the field.

In November 2022, the project inaugurates its second edition in Mexico with 8 sessions, two more than in the first edition, covering relevant topics for the commercial real estate sector. Renowned professionals in the real estate market participated, and the event was sponsored by IEI Avalúos.

The first class was taught by Alejandro Delgado, Country Manager Mexico at SiiLA, who discussed basic concepts of the sector and the main markets and regions in Mexico based on the methodology and information provided by SiiLA.

Classes 2 and 3 were conducted by Aarón Mercado, who spoke about the validation of real estate projects, and Manuel Ruíz and Deniyolanda Medina from IEI Avalúos, who discussed concepts and validations for real estate valuation.

For class 4, Nicolás E. Bulacio and Alfredo Giorgana from JLL discussed models for determining the commercial value of properties, and class 5 focused on the analysis of FIBRAs presented by Alejandro Chavelas from Credit Suisse.

Finally, classes 6 and 7 addressed market trends, presented by Karen Mora from FUNO, and valuation models for FIBRAs taught by Andrea Lara from IFC.
