Continental Will Invest $40 Million Dollars on a New Plant
Continental, the German company, plans to invest $40 million in the construction of a new plant in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, focusing on the production of advanced hydraulic hoses.
The investment will create around 150 direct jobs and enhance regional manufacturing capabilities, while improving supply chain efficiency and enabling multi-location capacities in the region.

German company Continental plans to invest $40 million (mdd), equivalent to 800 million pesos, in the construction of a new plant in San Luis Potosí. The facility will focus on producing state-of-the-art hydraulic hoses and is expected to commence operations in 2024, according to the technology company.
This investment will create approximately 150 direct jobs and enhance regional manufacturing capabilities. Furthermore, it will contribute to supply chain efficiency and enable multiple location capacities across the region as part of Continental's commitment to North America.
