Coppel Reveals Its Logistics Network Completes 14 M Deliveries per Year

Grupo Coppel, with its efficient logistics network, has achieved impressive growth. With over 1600 last-mile delivery routes and 23 Distribution Centers (Cedis) across Mexico, the company has excelled in customer satisfaction.

Angélica Bojórquez, the Supply Chain Director, explains that the primary objective of their distribution centers and logistics team is to provide a memorable experience for customers by ensuring the availability and timely delivery of desired items.

In a recent statement, the company highlights a remarkable 72% increase in delivery efficiency between 2020 and 2021, attributed to streamlined processes.Furthermore, Grupo Coppel has optimized its logistics network by establishing a robust delivery infrastructure.They operate 409 first and middle-mile routes, supported by a fleet of 809 primary vehicles, 1853 secondary vehicles, and 193 units for small item deliveries.

As part of their expansion plans, Grupo Coppel aims to open 5 new Cedis by 2024, with two of them set to commence operations this year in Texcoco, State of Mexico, and Tijuana, Baja California. 

Grupo Coppel takes pride in being a reliable ally for both physical and digital purchases, with furniture sales experiencing significant growth over the past four years.Currently, Grupo Coppel's Culiacán-based Cedis serves 116 clothing stores and 62 furniture stores, demonstrating their extensive distribution network and commitment to reaching customers throughout Mexico.
