Daimay Automotive Interior inaugurated its Plants III and IV in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, with an impressive investment of 32 billion dollars. This significant milestone is expected to generate over a thousand new jobs in the region.

Located in the Finsa Industrial Park, the construction of these facilities began in September of last year and they are now fully operational, focusing on the production of headrests and sun visors for vehicles. According to Miguel Riquelme Solís, the Governor of Coahuila, Daimay has already invested 150 million dollars and created four thousand jobs in the state, solidifying its position as one of the most important automotive companies in the region.

During the event, Víctor Villarreal Sosa, Regional Manager of the Daimay Campus, highlighted the fertile land of Coahuila, which has been a driving force for its expansion and stability. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Daimay has experienced remarkable growth in the region, going from one plant to four in less than three years.

Governor Miguel Riquelme Solís praised the determination of the consortium to continue its expansion despite the difficulties arising from the health crisis. He emphasized that just over 13 months ago, Plant II was inaugurated and the foundation stone was laid for the company's expansion, which is now fully operational.

Coahuila remains an attractive destination for investors, despite the setbacks caused by the pandemic. The Governor assured that the state made decisive decisions in collaboration with all sectors to overcome these challenges. He also mentioned a recent meeting with ambassadors from the European Union, assuring them that Coahuila continues to produce skilled labor and is ready to meet the demands of investors who have confidence in the region.
