Denso Autopartes reaffirms its strong confidence in the Mexican industry as it proudly inaugurates its fourth plant on Mexican soil. This new facility, located in the Castro del Río Industrial Park in Irapuato, Guanajuato, becomes the second plant in the region, following the company's establishment in Silao, Guanajuato Puerto Interior (GPI) since May 28, 2014.
Governor Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo of Guanajuato enthusiastically announced the opening of this complex, which will specialize in the production of automotive windshield wiper systems.
Through social media, he exclaimed, "Today, we celebrate the success of the Japanese company as they inaugurate their second plant in Guanajuato, expanding now to Irapuato. Congratulations on this new milestone!" Additionally, Ricardo Ortiz Gutiérrez, the mayor of Irapuato, acknowledged Denso Autopartes for its remarkable trajectory of growth as a socially responsible company that significantly contributes to the region's economic development.
Denso Mexico's mission is to contribute to the construction of a productive society through active participation, reflecting the needs and interests of the company, its employees, and the local community. The Japanese company operates a plant in Apodaca, Nuevo León, employing approximately 4,500 collaborators and producing a wide range of more than seven products across its various business units.
The Guadalupe Plant, located in Guadalupe, Nuevo León, was the second facility to begin operations in Mexico, starting its production in 2004. Currently, it has a workforce of over 750 associates and specializes in the manufacturing of engine components.
