DHL Supply Chain is planning to introduce hybrid SPEC vans to its operations in Mexico and open two new cross-dock complexes in Silao and Chihuahua. These strategic moves aim to enhance their logistics capabilities and increase flexibility in supply chain management.

The hybrid vans will be primarily used for last-mile operations, increasing the seating capacity from two to five individuals. This expansion is expected to improve delivery efficiency and reduce operational time. Alongside the van upgrade, the new cross-dock complexes will further enhance response time and coverage for various solutions.

These developments are part of DHL Supply Chain's commitment to implementing flexible supply chain schemes to effectively serve different sectors with optimal resource allocation. While the specific investment figures were not disclosed due to a company-wide global silence period, these initiatives signify DHL Supply Chain's dedication to advancing their operations in Mexico.
