The Dubai International Chamber, one of the three operational chambers under Dubai Chambers, has announced the opening of its new representative office in Mexico City.
This move aims to strengthen its presence in Latin America and explore new avenues for bilateral economic cooperation to foster trade and investment.
During a press conference, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Mexico, Ahmed Almenhali, described the opening of Dubai International Chamber's Mexico office as a great opportunity to increase trade between the two nations in a changing international environment.
"This office is an important factor that will boost trade and investment between the United Arab Emirates and Mexico, aligning the strategic ambitions of both governments to further diversify their economies and drive sustainable growth in the post-COVID era and beyond," he affirmed.
He explained that the Mexico office, the fourth in Latin America, is tasked with identifying new business opportunities in the market that offer potential for Dubai's member companies.
Additionally, he added that it "will assist Mexican companies interested in entering Dubai, leveraging the emirate as a gateway to expand into the Middle East, Africa, and Asia."
Furthermore, Hamad Buamim, the President and CEO of Dubai International Chamber (
