FedEx Express announced on Tuesday that it has invested $25.8 million in Mexico so far this year, representing a 44.6% increase compared to the same period last year and a record for the company. The funds were mainly allocated to facilities in Jalisco, Nuevo León, Querétaro, and Veracruz, as well as the expansion of their key international logistics center at Toluca International Airport, adding an additional 4,000 square meters.

From this center, FedEx Express provides "priority services" for next-day deliveries. With these new investments, FedEx Express has expanded its vehicle fleet from 3,000 to 4,000 and increased its workforce from 10,000 to 16,500 employees.
