The CFE's Fibra E is the first energy and infrastructure investment trust focused on the energy sector in Mexico.

The Fibra E of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) announced that it will make distribution payments to the holders of its energy trust certificates (CBFE) for 975.6 million pesos. "Despite the complex macroeconomic landscape, with ongoing inflationary pressures and a restrictive monetary policy with increasing interest rates as a response to this pressure, the performance of CFE's Fibra E remains stable and continues to be an attractive investment instrument," highlighted in a statement.

In the notice published on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV), it was reported that the distribution will be 0.8576 pesos for each of the Series A (FCFE18) and Series B (FCFE18-2) certificates, of which 0.4284 pesos correspond to fiscal results and 0.4292 pesos to capital reimbursement. The distribution covers the months of March, April, and May, and the payment will be made on June 30th.

The CFE's Fibra E is the first energy and infrastructure investment trust focused on the energy sector in Mexico. According to the issuer's data, the dividend yield of Fibra E has maintained a double-digit performance, around 11% to 12%, well above its peers. The distribution corresponds to a total period of 13 weeks of operation.

The Technical Committee of the Issuing Trust approved the amount to be distributed to the holders of 679 million 220 thousand 699 pesos, resulting in a distribution of 0.597 pesos per CBFE. Out of this amount, 0.549 pesos corresponded to capital reimbursement, while the remainder was fiscal results for both series.
