FIBRA Monterrey, a real estate investment trust, has successfully concluded the acquisition of a DHL distribution center (Cedis) in Nuevo Leon for a total of $22.4 million. This industrial property is fully occupied by DHL Supply Chain México.
The transaction took place through a simultaneous sale and leaseback agreement. The construction of the building was completed in November of last year, according to FIBRA.
This agreement establishes a long-term relationship between both companies, providing DHL with potential access to institutional capital for its real estate operations in Mexico. Simultaneously, it enables FIBRA Monterrey to bolster its cash flow generation by partnering with the global leader in the logistics sector.
