Fibra Plus reinvents itself with a divestment strategy to boost its growth. After acquiring Fibra HD last year, Fibra Plus has identified 22 assets for divestment to rotate its portfolio and pursue growth. Fibra Plus President, Gustavo Tomé, explains that the strategy focuses on divesting non-strategic assets and reinvesting in assets that drive the business. Additionally, the company seeks to seize investment opportunities in resilient sectors with promising prospects.
The pandemic has also impacted Fibra Plus' businesses, with industrial rental growth while shopping centers faced closures. Tomé emphasizes the importance of adapting to changes and meeting the new market demands, such as the millennial generation, which seeks more functional and shared spaces. The company is preparing for the next business model and plans to offer amenities like coworking areas in its developments.
