Real estate investment trusts (FIBRAs) want to be part of the main index of the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV), as they consider that they have the same value as large Mexican companies.
The director of Amefibra explained that this type of investment is growing significantly in Mexico, so they have already considered being included in the Index of Prices and Quotations (IPC), which is the indicator that measures the evolution of the stock market in the BMV.
