FINSA, the industrial park developer, has opened its third industrial complex in Queretaro, Mexico. The 73-hectare park, called FINSA Queretaro III, is situated on Federal Highway 57, Latin America's most significant automotive and logistics corridor. The new complex will be able to accommodate almost 22 companies, creating around 19.5 thousand jobs, both direct and indirect.

According to SiiLA Market Analytics, 38% of the development has already been committed a little more than a year after construction began. FINSA expects the park to reach 65% occupancy by June 2023. Currently, three tenants occupy the site, with two in the logistics sector and one in the metal-mechanical sector. One of these tenants is the Korean steel firm, Donkuk Steel.

The German, US, and Swiss clients from the automotive and electronics sectors have leased three sustainable buildings at the new industrial park to be used as production plants. These buildings will receive LEED environmental certification.

FINSA has been operating in Queretaro for more than 30 years, inaugurating its first industrial park in the region. It erected its second development in the area, in the Airport submarket, in 2013, benefiting from the investment dynamism in the Bajio region. The company now possesses industrial properties, totaling almost 12 million square meters, and contributes to the expansion of its leasing portfolio, with 3.3 million square meters, enabling the installation of around 400 companies and creating over 320,000 direct jobs.
