The new Ford campus is part of Latiz, a planned community spanning 190 hectares. This development aims to promote orderly residential and mixed-use growth, becoming an urban development hub. The entire project adheres to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles to ensure sustainability.

Artha Capital, the developer behind Latiz, is known for its continuous improvement, resulting in the ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management Compliance Certificate. This reflects their strict risk management policy. Ford emphasized the strategic location of its new corporate headquarters within Latiz.

The company, with a 97-year presence in Mexico, officially inaugurated its new Global Technology and Business Center (GTCB) and corporate offices in the presence of federal authorities, Governor Alfredo del Mazo, and Ford Motor Company CEO Jim Farley.

The new Ford GTCB covers an area of 19 hectares, including 4.3 hectares designated as protected ecological zones. It features 170,000 square meters of construction, consisting of two key buildings: one serving as the corporate office, with ample capacity to foster the talent behind the Ford brand, and the other housing Mexico's largest Automotive Engineering Center, which is one of the most significant facilities in Latin America.

The campus can accommodate up to 9,000 employees in a hybrid work environment and has been designed with a sustainable, inclusive, and innovative approach.
