GBM, the brokerage firm, is set to receive an investment of up to $150 million from the Japanese bank SoftBank, propelling its valuation to over $1 billion and making it a new Mexican unicorn.
Last year alone, the company witnessed significant growth, expanding from just over 38,000 accounts on its investment platform to over 650,000.
GBM maintains its position as the leading player in the local securities market, with a 16% market share and over $800 billion in custody assets.
