HEB Strengthens E-Commerce with New Warehouse System

HEB México, also known as Supermercados Internacionales HEB, has selected Blue Yonder as its warehouse management solution provider. The accelerated growth of e-commerce during the COVID-19 pandemic has driven HEB México to seek a more efficient way of handling online order demands. 

Blue Yonder was chosen for its extensive experience in the retail industry and its ability to meet the current needs of e-commerce and logistics operations. With the implementation of this warehouse management solution, 

HEB México aims to increase productivity and enhance customer satisfaction. HEB México boasts 115 years of experience, originating in Texas before establishing a presence in Mexico in 1997. Currently, the company operates 345 stores and employs over 95,000 individuals. Despite having only two decades of presence in Mexico, HEB México has expanded to 71 stores across various states, providing employment opportunities for over 15,500 collaborators. 

The implementation project for Blue Yonder's warehouse management solution, in collaboration with Netlogistik, is scheduled for the first quarter of 2021.
