Heineken Mexico will invest 1.8 billion pesos in a new canned beer factory in Meoqui, Chihuahua, in order to meet the increase in demand.
According to the company's Vice President of Corporate Affairs, Mónica Bichara, this reinforces Heineken's commitment to the country; it also marks a change in the integration of its supply chain.
"This plant somehow marks a change in terms of our integration of our supply chain; the production of our canned presentations will be growing in the years to come; to face this estimated growth we need this type of investment," she said.
