With an investment of nearly 840 million pesos, Henkel Mexico will put into operation a modern Distribution Center (Cedis) in the capital of the State of Mexico.

The company's objective is to generate 320 direct and indirect job opportunities through this initiative. Henkel is committed to strengthening its logistical operations for the next decade and promoting the creation of more employment opportunities for the residents of the State of Mexico.

The new Cedis will primarily focus on detergent, home care, and personal care product lines. It will be strategically located within the Toluca Park II Industrial Park in Toluca, providing excellent connectivity through the Mexico-Toluca Highway, the Toluca Bypass, and the Toluca-Naucalpan Highway.

Spanning an area of 86,000 square meters, the new Cedis will offer significant logistical benefits to the company, including increased storage capacity, precise inventory control, reduced operational costs, and a 30 percent decrease in energy consumption.

Henkel has had a strong presence in the region for four decades, maintaining offices and three out of its five production plants in the State of Mexico. These facilities employ 28 percent of its national workforce, with two plants in Toluca and one in Ecatepec.
