Mac Hospitals, a prominent chain of private medical-hospital services based in Celaya, Guanajuato, has taken a big step forward by acquiring H+ Hospitals located in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, and Querétaro, Querétaro. This investment has positioned Mac Hospitals as the second largest chain of private hospitals in Mexico. With this acquisition, Mac Hospitals will have a total of 16 operating hospitals spread across 13 states in the country.

In addition, they are in the process of opening five new units: two in Mexico City, two in Guanajuato, and one in Ecatepec, State of Mexico. "More than an achievement, this is just the beginning," said Miguel Isaac Khoury Siman, CEO and founder of Mac Hospitals. "There are still many cities and patients in need of our high-quality services, and we will soon reach them."

Over 14 years ago, Mac Hospitals inaugurated its first hospital in Celaya with the aim of raising healthcare standards in the region. Since then, they have understood the need to expand their services to other cities in Mexico. The 16 operational units of Mac Hospitals are located in Aguascalientes, Celaya, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Irapuato, Los Cabos, Los Mochis, and Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico, among other places.

This third-level hospital chain has experienced significant growth, going from 2,697 employees in early 2022 to 3,449 currently. It is expected that by the end of the year, the workforce will reach 4,000 employees, demonstrating the hospital group's commitment to Mexico and its population.

"With the acquisition of H+, we will continue to strengthen a solid and successful group, not only in terms of profitability but also in terms of improving the quality of life for many people," emphasized Eduardo Verboonen K., Deputy CEO of Mac Hospitals
