WeWork is seizing the opportunity presented by the influx of companies in Mexico due to the nearshoring phenomenon. According to Karen Scarpetta, CEO of WeWork Spanish Latam, their technology-driven approach and personalized workspace model, offering flexible spaces and contracts tailored to businesses' productive and financial needs, enable companies to set up their offices nearly 30% faster than in traditional offices. Furthermore, they can expedite their growth with WeWork's coworking guidance services in Mexico.

In an interview with SiiLA, Karen explained that Mexico alone ranks as the fourth most important country for the company globally, housing over half of WeWork's flexible workspace square footage in Latin America. Moreover, Mexico and Brazil represent 77% of the company's regional revenues.

WeWork's situation in Mexico and Latin America contrasts with its economic challenges in the United States.

Karen attributes WeWork's success in Latin America to its independence from the global WeWork organization, its ability to identify market opportunities with diverse needs, and its philosophy of creating intelligent spaces that cater to businesses' requirements while fostering productive communities and local economic development.
