Japan Bets on SLP to Expand Investments and Japanese Companies

During his visit to San Luis Potosí, Noriteru Fukushima, the Japanese ambassador to Mexico, expressed Japan's interest in expanding investments and increasing the purchase of agricultural products from the region. He highlighted the benefits of infrastructure, mobility, and cultural projects for the Japanese community, emphasizing the guarantee of security and support for foreign investments. 

With 59 Japanese companies already present in the region, primarily in the auto parts sector, Fukushima expressed confidence in attracting more companies from various sectors. He praised the Governor's commitment to supporting foreign investments and highlighted the strong partnership between Japan and Mexico. 

Fukushima also expressed enthusiasm for the state government's mobility projects, which would greatly benefit Japanese businessmen facing transportation challenges in reaching industrial parks. He acknowledged the proposal to expand the Japanese community's garden and announced an upcoming exhibition to commemorate the 125th anniversary of Japanese immigration to Mexico, showcasing Japanese culture.
