John Deere, after 70 years of manufacturing traditional agricultural implements, is expanding its plant in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León, to open two new production lines for the agricultural and construction sectors. This expansion has the capacity to create 400 new direct jobs and has the potential to attract young talent in Nuevo León.

Gerardo Mendoza, director of John Deere's Monterrey Site, highlighted the company's value of innovation, positioning it as a high-tech hub and a benchmark for manufacturing companies.

Due to the constant challenges presented by technological trends, the company is transitioning from traditional agricultural production to technological agriculture, offering solutions for the agricultural and construction equipment sectors.
