During the ceremony, Nancy Sánchez, the General Director of LEGO Operations in Mexico, highlighted the support they have received from the state since their arrival.

"This is an exciting milestone for our factory, the world's largest manufacturing plant in the group. Since its opening in 2008, we have received tremendous support in Nuevo León," she stated.

Sánchez further mentioned that Mexico offers LEGO a great pool of talent to recruit from, thanks to a robust labor market and educational system, along with an industrial community that operates in a positive environment." All these regional characteristics give us confidence to continue investing in this plant and supporting growth in the communities," she added.
