Last Thursday, March 31, as part of the Latam Retail CongresShop 2022, the Retail Hall of Fame Mexico and Peru 2021 awards ceremony took place.
Willem F. Schol, President of América Retail started the award ceremony remembering when and how the Retail Hall of Fame was born, an important program to recognize the best Retailers in Latin America in the following categories: Best Retailer in the Country, Best Omnichannel Retailer, Best E-tailer, Most Innovative Retailer and Most Sustainable Retailer.
This with a clear objective: To recognize the best Retailers in Latin America that have stood out for: 
1) their business model
2) delivering a relevant value proposition
3) adapting to an increasingly empowered customer
4) adopting new technologies in a timely manner and
5) always putting the customer first
