Merqueo expands the dark store concept in Mexico with the arrival of its Ultra service in Santa Fe, which guarantees delivery of orders in 30 minutes or it's free. According to the company, the facilities seek to offer new ways to do supermarket shopping quickly, with a variety of products and low prices.
The digital supermarket chain is in the process of building the largest logistics network of dark stores in Latin America. In August 2021, it closed a $50 million Series C financing round led by IDC Ventures, Digital Bridge and IDB Invest.
