Nestlé to Invest $160 Million Dollars in Guanajuato Plant
Grupo Nestlé will invest $160 million in the expansion of its plant in Guanajuato, generating 200 jobs and increasing the production of pet food.

Nestlé Group has agreed to invest $160 million in expanding its plant at Puerto Interior in Guanajuato, generating 200 new direct jobs.
The investment will take place during 2021 and aims to expand the production of pet food at Nestlé Purina's plant in the municipality of Silao.
With this initiative, the goal is to increase dry food production to 285,000 tons and wet food production to 25,000 tons.
This investment reaffirms the economic recovery in the state, and efforts continue to attract more investments to Guanajuato.
