Nissin Foods Mexico has plans to expand its plant in Lerma, State of Mexico, with a $15 million investment, resulting in the creation of 580 new direct jobs.   

As a pioneer in the manufacturing of instant ramen soups, this Japanese-origin company has achieved an impressive sales record of 40 billion Cup Noodles units. Founded in 1958, Nissin Foods has a workforce of over 11,000 employees worldwide and has a presence in countries such as the United States, Brazil, Colombia, France, Germany, India, Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, Hong Kong, China, Japan, and Mexico.   

The current expansion of Nissin Foods is focused on the central and northern regions of Mexico, and the expansion project in Lerma will be key to achieving these objectives. It is important to highlight that Nissin Foods' plant in Lerma is the only one in the country and is located in the Lerma Industrial Park.
