Noah Itech, a Chinese company, has laid the foundation for its first manufacturing plant in Mexico with a $100 million investment to produce automation equipment. The new factory will be located in the VYNMSA industrial park in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, and will create 100 high-skilled jobs.

Fang Te Chou, Vice President of Noah Itech Mexico, expressed confidence in choosing Nuevo León as the ideal location for their development due to its visionary spirit, making it a strong, connected, and hospitable state for foreign investment. He emphasized their commitment to collaborate with everyone in projects that promote the growth of Nuevo León.

Iván Rivas Rodríguez, Secretary of Economy, highlighted the significance of this plant as a substantial investment of $100 million that focuses on automation and electronics, aiming to improve efficiency and productivity. The facility will employ more than 100 engineers to establish a Research and Development Center.

Governor Samuel Alejandro García Sepúlveda emphasized the continuous trend of announcing foreign direct investment (FDI) arrivals or expansions in Nuevo León. He outlined the advantages of the state, including its proximity to the United States, nearshoring opportunities, and access to top-notch human capital.

The governor also mentioned Santa Catarina's strategic location within the Saltillo-Monterrey corridor, facilitating rapid exportation to the United States.

The local government is committed to enhancing infrastructure, including the peripheral road and bypass to Laredo, to ensure efficient transportation for businesses. Nuevo León offers various advantages and incentives, such as its infrastructure and highly skilled workforce.

The state graduates 15,000 engineers and scientists annually, along with 20,000 technicians from local universities.
