Yesterday I attended the inauguration of the Corporativo Neuchatel Cuadrante. Located in the Polanco submarket, this building, with approximately 38,600 square meters of gross leasable area, is being successfully marketed just a few months after its opening.
It's the first building in Mexico to be WELL certified by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), which governs standards for spaces focused on the impact of buildings on people's health and well-being. The Neuchatel Cuadrante corporate also boasts LEED GOLD certification from the US Green Building Council (USGBC).
This corporate building is just one part of a larger mixed-use complex that offers an array of amenities. With office spaces available for sale and rent, residential units, retail options, and over 14,000 square meters of green areas, Neuchatel Cuadrante is poised to offer work, housing, and leisure facilities. Leading real estate firms, Ivanhoe Cambridge, HINES, MIRA, and Gran Ciudad, have partnered to spearhead the strategies to establish Neuchatel Cuadrante as a commercial hub in the city.
The corporate amenities include event and conference rooms, a gymnasium, and a hotel-inspired designer lobby with a cafeteria and library lounge.
"The Eye of Mexico" is lit up for the first time
During the inauguration, we witnessed the inaugural illumination of "The Eye of Mexico." This work of art, the first of its kind in Latin America, utilizes artificial intelligence and real-time data to create audiovisual designs that reflect the movement patterns of Mexico City's inhabitants. Created by the talented teams at MASSIVart and Ouchhh, this installation is integral to the recently operational mixed-use complex.
