Safran plants in Querétaro receive ESR 2022 Distinction for their commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainability.
Over 50 companies in Querétaro, including Safran, are recognized for their social and environmental initiatives with the ESR Distinction.

The Safran plants in Querétaro have been awarded the ESR 2022 Distinction by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (Cemefi) and the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility for Mexico (AliaRSE). According to Cemefi, Safran Aircraft Engines México, Safran Aircraft Engines Services Américas, Safran Landing Systems Services Américas, and Safran Landing Systems México have received the distinction for four consecutive years, while Safran Electrical & Power Chihuahua has obtained it for the sixth consecutive year.
Safran Aerosystems México has received the distinction for the first time.The ESR Distinction recognizes companies that voluntarily integrate social and environmental responsibility into their business operations. It is a systematic process that measures and compares the level of maturity of good corporate social responsibility practices through indicators in the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas.
The vision of Cemefi in awarding this distinction is to encourage companies to undertake actions of corporate social responsibility and sustainability that have a positive impact on society.The areas considered include quality of life in the company, community involvement, environmental care and preservation, and business ethics and responsible consumption. The main benefits of obtaining the ESR Distinction, as listed by Cemefi, include reputation growth, promotion of responsible consumption, adaptation to regulatory changes, development of human capital, and increased investment.
In Querétaro, over 50 companies, ranging from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to large companies, have received the distinction.
