Siemens Announces the Expansion of Its Monterrey Operations Plant
Siemens expands operations in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, with a $683 million investment and the construction of a new facility, creating 450 new jobs in addition to the existing workforce of over 1,400 employees.

Siemens has announced the expansion of its operations plant in Santa Catarina, Monterrey, in the state of Nuevo León. The project, named Mitras, involves an investment of $683 million pesos and the construction of a new building spanning 17,926 square meters.
The German company aims to produce 874,000 plastic pieces per day in this facility.
Currently, the Santa Catarina factory provides job opportunities to over 1,400 individuals, and with the new building, an additional 450 new jobs will be created, in addition to the previously announced plan to create 600 jobs in October 2021.
