Sodecia Automotive announced the expansion of its car body components production plant in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, with a $36 million investment and the creation of 200 new jobs.
The company aims to enhance its competitiveness in the region and triple its current workforce. By leveraging automation technologies, Sodecia plans to diversify its product portfolio and cater to the North American market, particularly the United States, while also exploring opportunities in South America.
The initial production target is set at 5,600 pieces per week, with plans to increase it to approximately 10,000 pieces as all production lines are fully operational.
