Sura's Most Recent Acquisition in the North of the Country

According to a company press release, the investment management division concluded the acquisition of an industrial property located in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, in November 2021. 

The property, situated in the Centro submarket, features 28,000 m2 of gross rentable area and boasts a type A classification with full occupancy by Johnson Controls, an electronics company.   In terms of transaction specifics, Sura's purchase marks their entry into the real estate market, aiming to continue investing in industrial assets with dollarized contracts.  

The acquisition was carried out jointly with Grupo Patio, a company specializing in the development, financing, and management of rental properties. The purchase price exceeded $19 million and the cap rate was subsequently published on SiiLA shortly after the announcement of the transaction.
