The Home Depot Opens First Franchise in Corregidora

The Home Depot has inaugurated its first franchise in the municipality of Corregidora, and will soon open its doors to welcome customers. 

This exciting opening not only brings a new shopping option, but also generates significant job opportunities. Over 100 direct jobs have been created, of which an impressive 83 percent have been allocated to local residents of Corregidora. 

Additionally, the store's opening has generated three hundred indirect jobs, along with another 200 during its construction phase. During a tour of the new facilities, Mayor Roberto Sosa Pichardo expressed his satisfaction with the investment made by The Home Depot, which exceeds 416 million pesos. 

 The mayor highlighted the pride that this investment represents for the municipality, and emphasized the importance of attracting this type of investment, which not only creates jobs but also contributes to local development. According to the mayor, the choice of Corregidora as the location for the store demonstrates confidence in the security and hard work of its people. The Home Depot Corregidora is committed to operating with the highest environmental standards and aims to obtain the prestigious LEED Certification, granted by the U.S. Green Building Council. 

If achieved, this store would be the second in the country to accomplish such certification, thus demonstrating its commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. With this new addition to the Corregidora community, residents will be able to enjoy The Home Depot's products and services in an environmentally friendly environment.
