Vitro, a leading glass manufacturing company in North America, has announced an investment of approximately $70 million in the State of Mexico (EdoMéx). According to the statement, the funds will be used for the construction of a new glass furnace at their plant located in Toluca.
"This new furnace will feature the best technology for manufacturing high-quality glass with sophisticated design," commented Adrian Sada Cueva, CEO of Vitro.
He further mentioned that this investment will allow them to offer a greater availability of products.
Alfredo Del Mazo, the governor of EdoMéx, stated that this new project will increase their capacity and improve smelting processes, industrial safety conditions, and environmental protection.
