Between January and March, Organización Soriana reported revenues of 37,408 million dollars, which represented an increase of 7.2 percent for same stores (i.e., those with more than one year of operation).
According to its financial report sent to the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV), in terms of total units (including openings in the last 12 months), the figure is 7.7% higher than the first quarter of last year.
The company highlighted that during the period it opened four stores in the country; its positive results also included a good dynamism in the Supermarket and City Club formats, as well as a steady recovery in real estate income from commercial rents, which is related to the generalized reactivation of shopping center traffic.
