Yucatán, Mexico, is gradually reopening its economy as the epidemiological traffic light turns orange. The state government has announced plans to reopen cinemas, gyms, archaeological sites, and shopping malls, among other activities. Despite the pandemic, the region continues to offer multiple competitive advantages, such as its strategic location and excellent connectivity by land, sea, and air, making it an attractive destination for industrial, commercial, office, and service sectors. The real estate investment and development company, Sky Capital, specializes in the region and believes in the ongoing growth potential, driven by Yucatán's steady annual growth rate of over 3% and its reputation as one of the best states for investment, living, and working in Mexico.

Despite the impact of COVID-19 on the real estate industry, Yucatán's capital city, Mérida, has experienced significant population growth, reflecting the booming real estate market in the southeast region of Mexico. Sky Capital has adapted its developments to meet market needs, focusing on modern and intelligent designs. The company's portfolio includes projects such as SkyPark, a logistics and industrial park, SkyWork, a corporate office and hotel complex, SkyCity, a mixed-use building, and SkyLiving Playa Chaca, a residential apartment complex. Notably, The Sky, the region's first intelligent mixed-use skyscraper, is currently under construction and expected to open in the second half of 2023. Investors benefit from Sky Capital's projects through their convergence of design, infrastructure, and functionality, as well as reliable delivery, premium locations, and potential rental income and appreciation.
