Today, on June 21, the official launch of Amazon's new shipping center in León, Guanajuato took place. This facility will serve as a supply hub for states such as Querétaro, Guanajuato, Michoacán, San Luis Potosí, Aguascalientes, and more.

In its initial stage, the company will create 500 jobs in the region. This marks the eleventh shipping center of Amazon in Mexico, covering an area of 30,000 square meters. Surrounding the facility are foreign companies including Michelin, Iriso Electronics, Minamida, Samtch, Atzumi, and Senko.

Once the Amazon shipping center reaches its maximum capacity, it could employ up to a thousand workers. It is worth noting that the company began conducting test operations in May of this year.
