Arby's Has a Plan to Expand Its Presence in Mexico
Arby's plans to expand its presence in Mexico beyond its current two restaurants, with the goal of opening 18 locations in Jalisco and 12 in Querétaro within the first five years.
They are also considering entering the markets of Veracruz, Chiapas, Tabasco, and Campeche as part of their efforts to solidify their position in the Mexican market.

Arby's, the fast food chain, withdrew from Mexico in 1994 due to the economic crisis. However, they now have a plan to expand their presence beyond their current two restaurants.Their goal is to extend their reach from the central region to the western and southern parts of the country. In the first five years, they plan to open 18 restaurants in Jalisco and 12 in Querétaro.
Furthermore, they are considering entering markets in Veracruz, Chiapas, Tabasco, and Campeche as part of their consolidation in the Mexican market.
Arby's will soon open its third location in Guadalajara, as part of a 10-year expansion plan.
According to information from Expansión, Arby's has partnered with Key Spot Group (KSG), a franchise model, which will invest in the operation of the newly opened branches for the first 24 months.
They plan to replicate this format in the southern region with other investors, with the first opening scheduled for the second half of this year in the city of Puebla.
