Best Buy, the technology retail chain, will officially say goodbye to Mexico in March with the closure of all its stores, following its previous announcement of exiting the Mexican market. The company's Chief Financial Officer, Matt Bilunas, confirmed that "all of our store locations in Mexico will be closed by the end of the first quarter."
Best Buy had previously announced its plan to cease operations in the country, with store closures on December 31, 2020, while its website would remain operational until inventory depletion. The company expressed its commitment to providing support to its employees during the transition and ensuring favorable conditions for the conclusion of their employment.
