Burger King, the US hamburger chain with operations in Mexico, remains optimistic about its business operations in the domestic market. It plans to open between 15 and 20 more units this year in the country, along with a similar number for remodeling.

This comes despite fewer operating restrictions imposed by local governments, even in the face of the omicron variant. Additionally, the company continues to pursue its strategy of product innovations to drive sales.

As part of this strategy, they recently introduced a burger called "Fans King" based on consumer tastes, opinions, and social media surveys. Brian Kleiman, the marketing director of Burger King Mexico, shared these details during a virtual conference.
