FIBRA Hotel Operates New Hotel in Cancun

Hotel Group Santa Fe has signed a new management contract for SLS Cancun, adding to its portfolio of 29 hotels across Mexico. The luxury SLS Cancun hotel, located in the Puerto Cancun area, features 45 luxury suites and 130 residential units. 

The company continues its expansion strategy and actively seeks investment opportunities in hotels and properties for acquisition, conversion, development, and operation contracts.As of the third quarter of 2020, FIBRA Hotel reported an average room rate of 1,091 pesos, an occupancy rate of 24.3% (compared to 63.2% in the third quarter of 2019), and an effective rate of 265 pesos. 

Despite the challenges faced by the industry, Hotel Group Santa Fe remains a strong player in the market with its certificates priced at 5.6 pesos each and a market capitalization of 4,631 million pesos as of the closing of Wednesday.
